Jaipur: Forget about Ayurveda being a laggard against all Modern medicine. Ongoing strike by doctors at government hospitals and dispensaries has increased patient inflow (including new patients) at outdoor patient departments of National Institute of Ayurveda and associated hospitals.

During the strike period, registration of patients at NIA Hospital OPD has peaked to 625, while patients reported at Bombaiwala Hospital shot up to 131 and up to 30 at NIA Satellite Hospital.
