my friend met with an accident in 2006. Now he can't bend his right leg. There was major injury in knees. Doctors in Patna, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Vellore has suggested not to go for further treatment. But its really difficult for him to stay like this. He is totally frustrated. Is there any ayurvedic treatment for this kind of complicated orthopaedic problem.

Dr. You have not clearly mentioned the current radiological status of your friend's knee. After knee injury, whether he had fracture of patella which had been neglected or whether he is presenting with fusion of patella over the femoral articular surface? Or whether the difficulty to flex is due to sprain? Nothing could be analysed or understood from the above vague case posted by you. Please describe the current stattus and clinical examination f the person mentioned above, clearly so that a practical solution may be thought of.
