Muscular dystrophy is an auto immune disorder,as far as ayurveda treatment is concerned you have to evaluate the prakruti and vikruti of the patient and the type of dosha involved.Ayurveda with proper management can check the degeneration of the patient.
You can start the treatment with snehan(vata)i.e sarvang dhara with bala mool ,shastika rice(pind swed) and balaaswagandhadi thail you have to give all the bruhghan medicine if possible give sneh vasti.
