yes,'rajakshama',treatment can be utilized in but only up to certain level .AIDS can be compared with the oj kshay, where oj means, essence of seven dhatus, we must be very much cautious while treating such a disease since there is degeneration and degradation of seven dhatus from rasa-------shukra(arthav).

While treating we can keep in mind certain "Rasayanas" like Aswagandha---Bharvardhak,Amlaki---ayush and Pippalli---immunumodulator,this all rasayan act simmultaneusly on all the seven dhatus and help the HIV+ve patient to live positively.Ayurveda firmly beleaves in prakriti we never beleave in vikruti, hence we have to ascertain the prakriti of the patient before entering into the treatment,we have to plan alifestyle in an Ayurvedic way since we cannot advocate the langauge of condom.

I agree with you, but it is nessesory to classified as PRTILOM KSHAYA for complete diagnosis.

Treatment is also managed as Prtilom Kshaya.
